“Refer a friend” promotion terms and conditions

1. The refer a friend promotion rewards both those who recommend Kindred Health Insurance’s to friends and to friends who have been recommended Kindred Health Insurance in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below.

2. Customers of Alliance Health PMI Limited t/a Kindred (“we”, “us”, “our”) who have an existing private health insurance policy with us (“Referrer”) may refer a friend or family member to purchase a private health insurance policy from us by sharing a referral URL link we provided to you with, or providing the email address you provided to us when you purchased your private health insurance policy from us to, that friend or family member (“Referred Friend”).

3. Each of the Referrer and the Referred Friend will qualify for a Reward (as defined in paragraph 5 below) if the conditions set out in paragraph 4 are met.

4. In order for the referral to quality for a Reward:

(a) the Referrer must:

(i) be over the age of 18;

(ii) have an existing private health insurance policy with us; and

(iii) have shared a referral URL link provided to it by us with, or have provided the email address it provided to us when it purchased it private health insurance policy from us to, the Referred Friend;

(b) the Referred Friend must:

(i) be over the age of 18;

(ii) receive a valid referral URL link or email address from the Referred Friend;

(iii) purchase a private health insurance policy from us directly following the receipt of the a valid referral URL link or email address from the Referred Friend;

(iv) uses the URL link the Referred Friend shared with them when they purchased the private health insurance policy or enter the email address received from the Referred Friend at the checkout when they purchased the private health insurance policy; and

(v) be a person who has not purchased an insurance policy from us within twelve months prior to the date it purchases a private health insurance policy from us directly under paragraph 4(b)(ii) above; and

(vi) the Referred Friend must have paid the premiums for the first 6 months of its policy to us in full.

Neither the Referrer nor the Referred Friend shall be entitled to receive a Reward if any of the conditions set out in paragraph 4 are not met.

5. The Reward is one £50 John Lewis Partnership gift card for the referrer and one gift card referred friend, which can be used at John Lewis and Waitrose stores.

6. The Reward is only available on the first private health insurance policy purchased by the Referred Friend, and not any subsequent privacy health insurance policy purchased by the Referred Friend.

7. The Reward will be send to each of the Referrer and Referred Friend by email using the details provided on purchase of the private health insurance policy within 14 days after all of the conditions in paragraph 4 have been met.

8. We shall not be liable to replace or exchange any lost, stolen or damaged gift cards, nor shall we be liable to pay any cash value in the event gift cards are lost, stolen or damaged.

9. Rewards are non-transferrable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part of full, unless a Reward is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, in which case we reserve the right to substitute the Reward for another reward of similar value.

10. Only one Referrer will be entitled to a Reward if a Referred Friend purchases a private medical insurance policy using a referral URL code or email address of a Referrer. The Referrer may refer more than one Referred Friend and receive a Reward for each Referred Friend.

11. If a private health insurance policy is purchased jointly by one or more individual, only one individual shall be deemed to be the “Referred Friend” (as determined by us in our sole discretion).

12. John Lewis Partnership Limited is not a sponsor of this promotion. You can redeem the John Lewis gift card in accordance with John Lewis Partnership Limited’s terms and conditions applicable to such gift card.

13. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this promotion, we reserve the right to withdraw or suspend the promotion.

14. We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this promotion at any time at our sole discretion.
